The MCR room (First Court, F staircase) is the postgraduate common room, a shared space comprising a cosy living room with fireplace and leather sofas, and a smaller kitchen room, with comfy chairs and a massage unit. Students can go any time and hang out with friends, make some tea or coffee, relax, read, discuss, watch movies/games, and organise MCR events. Everyone is responsible for this space, for keeping it tidy, clean and welcoming. Room facilities include, among others, tea and coffee selection, loads of books and journals, boardgames, a projector, speakers, a guitar and a welfare box.
